Client Need

The university required support to:

  • Design and implement a best-practice Performance Management System (PMS)
  • Lead communication and change management for institutional restructuring
  • Use performance management to embed accountability and feedback
  • Assess institutional viability and improve financial sustainability

 

Laetoli’s Approach

Co-developed the PMS with all stakeholders (approved by Council)

  • Created 387 unique Individual Performance Scorecards
  • Reviewed and aligned all HR policies and procedures
  • Developed the “ABC of PMS” 12-module sustainability toolkit
  • Designed and facilitated:
    • University-wide Change Management Programme
    • 5-day leadership alignment workshop with 80 top executives
    • 2-day training for managers, 1-day training for staff
    • Conducted a Readiness and Climate Survey
