Large Group Facilitation using RTSC Methodology

Given the rate of change, many organisations struggle with informing, engaging, aligning and energising all or a critical mass of leaders and employees around major changes over a short period of time in a cost effective way. Large Scale Change, based on the Real Time Strategic Change (RTSC) methodology provides a solution to overcoming this challenge.

Using RTSC methodology and other large-scale methodologies, Laetoli designs and facilitates workshops of 100, 300, 800 or more participants, thus helping clients to make the future happen faster. In one of our public sector projects, Laetoli actively engaged 13,500 managers and employees around the strategic intent of the organisation in all nine provinces over a period of just 3,5 months!

Large-scale change work is a principle-based approach that leads to rapid, sustainable organisation-wide transformation.

How does it work?
A typical intervention consists of:

Scoping the possibilities for change
Leadership Alignment
Organisational alignment

The work is directed by a clear purpose aimed at desired results with all the key stakeholders vitally involved in the planning and implementation of the work of transformation. Processes are designed to create an aligned community with a shared understanding of the important issues, a commitment to a common future and the actions needed to get there, all founded on shared leadership and responsibility.

The approach can be used at many levels - from more effective meetings, more effective training processes, to better ways of doing business day-to-day, to align, energise and transform an entire organisation around:

Strategy Alignment & Navigation

Culture Change or Values Interventions
Branding & Client Experiences
Organisational Renewal & Revitalisation
Diversity Awareness
Business Process Engineering, Restructuring, Mergers of companies, business units or teams

This approach has the power to:

Deal with a complex set of competing realities within the organisation and its surrounding environment
Create partnership relationships across a wide set of traditional boundaries
Align diverse groups around common values and goals
Support simultaneous actions across a range of priority areas
Provide effective means of inclusive decision making
Develop effective communication networks to support the creation and flow of strategic information
